Debt instruments

Uniper's financing currently consists mainly of a syndicated loan agreement with its group of core banks. By way of this external financing, Uniper's previous financing arrangements with E.ON were fully replaced as of the listing date. The financing is split in two tranches: a EUR 2.0 billion term loan with a duration of three years and another EUR 2.5 billion revolving credit facility with a duration of three years, which may be extended by up to two years with the consent of the banks.

In addition, Uniper established guarantee facilities with banks, for e.g. letters of credit and sureties, in order to meet specific requirements in the operative business. Currently, Uniper does not have any outstanding bond issues.
